Square Parts Plus! is an app that allows you to change some hidden settings on your Android

Updated to work with Android Gingerbread 2.3.3. Battery history activity only works for CM7 Rom. If you are root you can also download Blade Buddy, with extra settings.

Hidden settings in your own devices? That can't happen! Spare Parts Plus! wants to wide open your settings to give you comprehensive control about what's going on your phone.

Thus, you can control windows animation speed as well as windows transition speed or directly disable them, what will speed your device up. Likewise, you will enable/disable from this app compatibility mode, that allow apps to work on full screen size on your device. It tracks battery history and other battery information and other usage statistics that can be useful to know how you devices works. Besides this, you can also set the font size, the end button behavior or the Wi-Fi sleep policy, among other setting.

Spare Parts has been developed by Droig Gram, a developer who's specialized on uncovering hidden Android system settings to improve user's experience.

Spare Parts should be taken in account for the most of the users since the battery-life, windows animations and usage statistics are issues that really concerns all Android users. Really easy to use, must have app.

Spare Parts Plus! PRO allows you to enable and change some hidden settings of your Android device. This app is based on the open code provided by Google but updated to work with Android 2.33 GingerBread and tested on CyanogenMod7. This app is provided to you for free and without AdMob ads.

Note that stock GingerBread ROMs do not have the Battery History activity. You need CM7 or Custom Rom to see this. I am working on a fix for a future version.

For example:

- Enable/Disable compatibility mode to allow Apps to work at full screen size on Galaxy Tab and other large screen devices
- Control windows animation speeds or disable them entirely to speed up your device!
- Control windows transition speeds or disable them entirely to speed up your device!
- Control haptic feedback
- View battery history and information
- View usage statistics
- Control WiFi sleep policy to keep WiFi connected
- No annoying AdMob adverts
- And much, much more!

This is the first release and more features and settings will be added soon. Look out also for our Blade Buddy program for rooted devices which allows you to change, optimize and speed up your phone even more!

Warning: some ROMs do not have battery history activity built-in. The app will force close if you try to run and this activity is not built into the ROM.

A note on permissions: the program requests the following permissions:

android.permission.SET_ANIMATION_SCALE
android.permission.CHANGE_CONFIGURATION
android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS
android.permission.INTERNET
android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
