"Find the best carrier out"

Reviewed by / Apr 27, 2012

Sensorly allows you to see carrier's 2G, 3G, 4G and WiFi coverage based on recordings made by users

You cannot be over WiFi all the time since there isn't a developed structure which allows it, specially in the outskirts. So you need to use your 2G, 3G or 4G connection sometimes and we're pretty sure you have suffer low coverage inconvenience. Sensorly helps you to find where the best coverage points around you.

Sensorly allows you to compare carrier's coverage and signal quality of any location in the World. Millions of recordings made by Sensorly users throughout the World make it even more reliable. You can only report indoor locations with poor coverage, which is pretty useful, specially for cafes and public locations.

You can set the data collection level to improve the database of Sensorly. Take into account that the wider data collection the more battery it will drain (don't be scared, it isn't intrusive in other regards).

The app really works. What's more, it is set in a good-looking layout and user-friendly interface that makes really easy getting the hang of it very quick. High recommendable.

I use this very frequently. I enjoy being able to see where Sprint's best 4G is, and where I should avoid attempting voice calls as the 3G is weak. I also enjoy providing new data to the maps. On our last vacation, I filled in many unknown, blank areas.

I haven't used nearly all the features in this app, but what I have used works well. My only wish so far is that the app would differentiate between LTE/HSPA+/HSDPA... seeing "4G" doesn't really tell me all that much, at least on T-Mobile.

Good for mapping cell coverage. Does use a ton of battery for mapping but it uses GPS for accurate results.
