This app handles Twitter links so that they work more gracefully on Android devices.

Basically, these links usually open in the Browser app. Sometimes this results in awkward behavior. For example, YouTube videos would show up in the Browser app instead of the native YouTube app. This fixes that behavior so that the links are handled by the Android system, not just the Browser app.
