**** Please use this version rather than my original Toggle Ringer app ****

This is a more light-weight version of my Toggle Ringer app, which has been developed using native Java for Android, rather than Tasker. This means it has a much smaller code footprint and thus requires less device memory to install, which will be important on some lower end devices with a smaller memory.

Use this simple application to quickly toggle your phone ringer on/off (from ringing to silent and back again). It is particularly useful for those android phones with no quick settings bar on the notifications pull down, such as some HTC devices. Note you cannot set to Vibrate mode with this app.

Select the app from your application drawer and put it on your home screen. When the app is selected, a message is shown to indicate which ringer mode the phone has been changed to.

The app also includes a re-sizable 1x1 widget which you can add to your home screen. The widget shows green when the ringer is on, red when the ringer is off, and amber when the phone is in vibrate mode (note will be amber if phone set to vibrate by alternative means). No notification is shown when the widget is selected, as the colour indicates the current ringer mode. Note that the widget colour also updates if the ringer is changed by some other means (such as the volume key or from the system settings), unlike some of the other toggle widgets available, so you always know the ringer state from the widget colour.

This has been tested on a Galaxy S3 phone running Android 4.0.

Does exactly as it says, very useful, a simple feature that is missing from the HTC phone design.
