Tracker Assistant

Client of popular torrent resource rutracker.org.

WARNING! The application itself does not download content from P2P BitTorrent network, the purpose of the program is to download .torrent link from the site rutracker.org and send it to a local BitTorrent client or remote NAS/desktop to download content.

Is quite difficult to download .torrent file from the rutracker.org site in Android system, this is due to restrictions on direct download from the rutracker resource, as well as the feature of a standard Internet browser and download manager Android. When you try to download .torrent file with built-in browser, or the majority of third-party browsers, there is the message: "Download is only possible from the pages of the tracker…" instead of the content of .torrent file.
Application "Tracker Assistant" is intended to solve this problem, and also it is just a convenient client for searching, downloading .torrent files and send these files to installed in the system BitTorrent client.

The main features of Tracker Assistant:
- search torrents by keyword
- display a list of search results, sorted by date, seeds/leeches/downloads, size, section, name of torrent
- display torrent publication
- search for alternative torrents by name/director/year of release
- display IMDB rating for movies*
- display rating and movie covers in the search results
- download the .torrent file, run associated BitTorrent client; if the client is not installed in system, simply save .torrent file
- handle opening publication from rutracker.org site by external applications - WEB-browsers, RSS-reader, etc.
- multi-threaded downloading in the background (the service does not start when not needed and stops after the download - no extra resources are used)

* Feature display rating IMDB:
Due to the fact that the rutracker.org service does not provide method to reliably determine the original title of the movie, as well as due to the fact that there is no possibility to automatically assign an IMDB ID to rutracker's publication, the client is able to determine the rating not for every movie.
With high probability rating can not be determined for these distributions:
- serials
- torrents with the misfiled header, or a lot of mistakes/typos
- collections and anthologies (several movies in single torrent)
Also rating is not determined for torrents lying outside the section "Film, Video and TV."
