Turning Time

Turning Time is designed for the CNC lathe Programmer and Machinist. It calculates the number of passes and amount of time it takes to remove material when turning. It will also converts diameters, lengths, speeds and feeds from inch to metric and metric to inch.

To use Turning Time enter the start diameter, finish diameter and length of cut. Next, enter your cutting parameters and press the Calculate button. Turning Time will convert your inch or metric data and display the number of passes, the time required to remove the material, amount of material removed, the removal rate, the maximum and minimum RPM and maximum IPM and MMPM feedrate.
