"Damn! Did I tap... delete?"

Yes, you did. Undelete comes to the rescue.

Fahrbot's Undelete for Root Users is a groundbreaking app that allows to temporarily restore any deleted files from your SDcard (or any connected FAT format storage).

Since we all have removed files on our Android device by mistake, Undelete is one of those life-saving apps you cannot live without after trying it. No matter the format of the file you deleted. Undelete comes to the rescue. You can even restore by batches.

Undelete for Root Users also allows you to manage those files, shred them, set categories and change restore location. The design is too sober and needs a revamping. Regarldess, the app is fully functional

Developer's original description available here
This app for root users scans and recovers deleted files from memory cards and internal device storage.

Undeleter can come in handy if you accidentally erase photos and videos, or want some old tunes to listen to on the go. Unerase them in minutes, on any Android device!

Undeleter 3 has a new UI and supports all volume formats, including EXT4, RFS and FAT32. Join the Google Plus community to discuss the new features and get help from us and our users: https://plus.google.com/communities/113775337370180900364

Features:

• Restore deleted files from any partition
• Recover documents, images, video, music, archives and binaries
• Save restored files to Dropbox and Google Drive

Unlike other file recovery applications, Undeleter scans unallocated sectors and space marked for deletion rather than file headers and caches. This means truly accurate file discovery and restoration. No padding - you see the files you deleted, because those are the ones you need.

For free, the app will restore only image files. Purchase the key to unlock full functionality - undelete any file type, remove adverts and enable background scanning.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Some files that are discovered during a scan may fail to recover as the data can be corrupted beyond repair, just like desktop based solutions. Similarly, files that are recovered may fail to open or play back due to degeneration. Save the restored files and transfer them to your desktop. Then open the files with an appropriate application - chances are they will play back or be readable or partially so.

Recovered partial file, not enough to open anything. Disk digger worked better for a lower price
