The app comes with one design example. To create your own design, get the PNG files from the SD card in the subdirectory "Watch". Change these files with a graphics editor on your Computer to design your own clock (there is no picture editor in this app). Overwrite the files on the SD card with the updated version and push "Reload Graphics" to see how your design looks like.
All files contain sprites with 240x240 pixels. There are no boundaries in the files, so you have to look at the coordinates to see boundaries.
The filenames are
analog.png: complete theme
digital_hour.png: hour sprites
digital_minute_ones.png: minute tens sprites
digital_minute_tens.png: minute ones sprites
digital_second_tens.png: second ones sprites
digital_second_ones.png: second tens sprites
So to change the look of the tens for the seconds, you have to change digital_minute_tens.png which contains 240x240 pixel large patches. The first one is for the digit 0, the second one to the right for the digit 1 etc. The digital samples are horrible, I know. The first to send me a digital theme will be included in the distribution.
The files are layered over each other in the order above, so they have to be transparent.
IMPORTANT NOTE: as this is loading really large bitmaps, you need at least a heap of 24 MB when running in an emulator! Expect ForceCloses with OutOfMemoryExceptions when switching forth and back between analog and digital due to massive bitmap reloading.
Use "reset graphics" after an update to overwrite the files on the SD card with the newer designs.
