"Control your Android from your PC keyboard"

Reviewed by: Emmanuel Lund / Nov 23, 2011

WiFi Keyboard allows you to type on your Android by using your computer's keyboard

The connection between devices is quite easy: over WiFi (it doesn't run over 3G). Open the app and you'll get the instructions: you have to go settings, language & input and select WiFi keyboard as input method. Then, open a browser on your computer and type the address to connect your devices. From this moment you will be able to type from your keyboard on your device: it really works.

Beside typing, you can also perform other actions from your computer's keyboard like controlling volume, opening menu, switching between screens, launching app drawer and apps.

This is a great idea with high potential but that has to be enhanced though. By now, we don't really find it really useful. OK it's great whatsapping or sending SMS that fast, but switching between screens, closing conversations and opening new ones isn't as intuituive as it should be. Anyway, worthy to try.

Developer's original description available here
Keyboard for keyboard-less phones like Nexus One. Allow you to type on your phone using your computer's _browser_.

It works as ordinary input method. You can use terminal or type SMS ...

Use WiFi for low latency input. 3G may be blocked by some carriers. USB connection works best, but require some technical knowledge and connected cable.

Internet Explorer is not supported and can be unstable. Recommended browser is Chrome.

I use this app daily and it is awesome! As it says in the description IE is a bit buggy. Other than IE it is flawless.
