wipr is a free application to securely delete/shred files. wipr overwrites files selected by the user multiple times with randomly generated data to ensure that the file cannot be retrieved by file recovery applications.

wipr is fully functional, however, it includes some limitations that aren't found in wipr pro:

- Overwrites sdelected file(s) five times with randomly-generated data
- Can dynamically generate random data
- Automatic deletion post-overwrite

- [PRO ONLY] Multiple deletion
- [PRO ONLY] Support for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 (Guttman) pass
- [PRO ONLY] Overwrite with either random data or null bytes
- [PRO ONLY] Option to retain file post-overwrite
- [PRO ONLY] Automatic post-overwrite file name scrambler

It's rather simple, but all the basic features work well. Unlike competitors, (1) Files are listed alphabetically, (2) You start in the SD card folder, and (3) No adverts! And I tested the file wiping works! I will consider upgrading to the full version

On opening the app, the only choice I was presented with was to delete files in my Dropbox folder. Not exactly what I want...
