An offline database will really help

Best dictionary app I've used so far. Works almost perfectly save very rare crashes where all I need to do is highlight the word again/share with WordLookup. Thanks Dev guy for this hella great tool for deepening (my) understanding of the English language.

This app is a far cry from the built-in iPhone dictionary. Needs a "dismiss" button, rather than just a timeout. Using the "share" feature for lookup is counterintuitive and clunky. A fbreader plugin would probably work better.

I wish I could remove the popup manually when I'm done. Otherwise this is awesome!

I just wish the design was more polished. Wouldn't mind seeing something like Google Dictionary cards instead of the current popup.

It's nice, except it doesn't handle plurals and "-ly" words well. I'd rather see the definition of a word rather than just saying "plural of ____". Another example is when you search "begrudgingly" it says "in a begrudging manner" but didn't really tell you the meaning of the word.

Works very good, but you shoul try to connect it to Google translate to get the full effect.

Finally there is an App now on android which is close to IOS 'define'. Great effort. Expect to more fine tune to get popup on long press without having to share..

On migrating back to android after using iphone for quite a while, i was missing a few iphone exclusive functionalities. Like the iphone dictionary which can be commanded at will, at any time. This dilemma has been sorted out for me to a certain extent by this app! I can now look up words from anywhere i can select a word and share it. It will mostly be usable on a browser or similar apps. Clever!

The app is definitely has a very good idea behind it. But it should be better implemented on definitions. I. E. If I select "habits" the definition shouldn't be only "the plural of habit", but the definition of the singular name too! Hope this gets fixed so I can rate the app properly!
