Car Finder Free uses the GPS in your phone to find where you parked your car. Ideal for when you need to find your car when you're in an unusual place, or in a big car park.
Just start the app when you park, wait a moment for GPS, and save your current position. That's it! When you want to get back to your car, just re-start Car Finder, allow it to get GPS again, and tell it to find your car! Very simple and easy to use. Extremely light on memory and phone resources in general, so it a good choice for entry-level or older phones.
Please try this free version first. If you don't want the advertisements, then please consider the paid version; which has identical features except no advertisements. It's very cheap, and will help me buy a half-decent phone! This version requires the Internet permission to load Ads.
The paid version has no extra features.

Recently changed in this version:
Fixed crash when saving position before GPS signal was obtained.
General interface improvements. Looks much, much better on Android 4 devices and is generally easier to use.
Car Finder will now ask give option to switch on GPS instead of just quitting if it's turned off.

A great little app for when you go somewhere new or a car boot sale that has a huge unmarked car park. Gets rid of the need to tie coloured balloons to your aerial!

On the previous version, I found an error which I reported to the dev. He's a very pleasant guy. Not always quick to reply. But give him a break, this is not his full time job! Thx Richard for fixing the GPS error. 5 stars for your efforts. Much appreci

Crap
Asks you to log location on parking then switch off. When you go to find car, asks you to log location again. Hasn't retained previous stored location. Glad I had a trial run.
