Permissions explanation:
READ_CONTACTS - Car Locator has the ability to "beam" your location to another user who has Car Locator installed. You can select the recipient of your location by using your contact list
SEND_SMS/RECEIVE_SMS - The "beam" communication is done through SMS. This is why the SMS permission is required. No SMS's are sent without your explicit action.

After contacting the maker he told me that "The issues should be resolved in the full version of the app, because in the full version, some of the screen space is not taken by the banner ad at the top of the screeen." Not going to buy this app just becau

Why do they want my Contacts, SMS, Call-details, Emails, Storage access,... ??? Do NOT let any App save Privat data!! ACHTUNG- Speichert Kontakte,SMS, Anruf-details, E-Mail,.... !!!
