Get speedometer and speed limit alerts for Google Maps Navigation!
Trial features:
- Display overlay with speed information on your screen
- Display last two digits of your speed in notification area
- Choose between km/h and mph
- Starts automatically when connected to car dock
Pro features:
- Speeding alerts (using threshold system, automatic system is planned)
- Smart alert volume adjusting to background noise
- Configurable speed overlay behaviour (hide, show only if Navigator is running)
- Trial notice removal
- And you will support independent developer and encourage me to add new awesome features!
This is a beta version supported via xda-developers forums, but e-mail communication is also available, especially for Pro users customer support.

Needs ability to set alarm up to 10 MPH over limit to be useful though.

Need to show the roads ACTUAL speed also. I can see by looking at the dash my car speed but sometime you miss the signs or our in a new city

The application has quite a good premise, unfortunately I feel it falls short of that ideal. It doesn't actually use a database of the roads ACTUAL speed, but rather a best-guess. Overlay doesn't line up and I dont see a method how to make it visually a

Seems odd that it overlaps the arrival time. Makes it look poorly integrated, great idea but not liking the execution.

I was looking for an app to place my speed on navigation and any other map for that matter. I have tried a few but this one has the best look. The small speed box is right above the 'time remaining' in the lower left corner of Gnav. No cumbersome inter
