MTA Ups & Downs tabs into the open API of New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s data system, retrieves the up-to-the-minute service status, and instantly displays the UPs - subway lines that are in good service, and DOWNs - lines that are having service changes, planned works, and delays, etc. The service status is updated every minute, MTA Ups & Downs is like having a on-the-go MTA PA system in your palm.
