Welcome to Navfree!
Navfree is a completely free navigation app that offers turn-by-turn directions, spoken and on-screen instructions, offline map use and address search and live search via Google and Microsoft Bing, among many other features.
The maps it uses are available for free download from the Navfree Store. The map data is stored on your device so there is no need for a constant data connection while driving. It also allows you to browse maps anytime, anywhere without paying for data connections, which means no costly roaming charges when abroad.
It uses high-quality, open-source map data from OpenStreetMap that has been created and is continually improved by as many as 400,000 users around the world. If you see a problem, you can help to improve the quality of the maps by signing up to www.openstreetmap.org.

Considering it's free, this is a very good program. It guides me flawlessly to my destination. There are some negatives, though. First, I find the UI confusing. Most GPS devices (even on my non-smart phone) are simple enough for my 9-year-old...not this o

I love this app. It saved me from getting lost on a trip to Boston and barely failed me. One thing I would like to see is pinch to zoom function because I cannot get used to the +/- arrows for zoom controls. Hopefully next release will add this. Another t

best thing it's free, easy to use, but prefer it just give turn by turn direction then street name, because it will spell the name rather then speak it, especially on highway, make it most confuse to use. the newer update add some neat feature, route to c

it tells your speed and has so many very ables like satellite to map display plus it's free. I disabled the Google Maps on my phone because it was constantly running and sucks anyway and this took its place much better.
