"Never Miss the Train Again"

Buy tickets, check the schedule, stay on track!

The SBB Mobile app lets you check Switzerland's train schedule. You can check stations, look at time tables, and even purchase tickets for up to eight people at a time. The app even has a take me home feature, which uses GPS to show you the quickest train route home including times, stations, and switches.

The app gives you the ability to purchase tickets and check schedules.

The app sometimes has glitches with purchasing tickets.

    1) It's a pain to type the password every time you want to buy a ticket, 2) three times in two months the server had connection problems that prevented me from buying ticket and 3) it would be nice to have stored routes, I almost always buy the same route back and forth.

    1. Selecting transportation mode filters is very very clunky. For example, specifying ship-only requires a dozen taps. 2. Having named transportation filter groups would ease (1), eg being able to pre-set "ship-only" or "anthing but bus". 3. The app should have a query mode that shows the schedule of everything going through a station, eg what trams and buses are going through Zurich Enge in the n

Should be able to swap source and destination with one button press. Widget is not long enough. You cannot see the number of tram/bus by viewing just the widget itself.

    1) The User Interface keeps changing (screen gestures etc.) 2) There is sometimes a mismatch between a route suggested in the apps's timetable and the route specified on the ticket, purchased through the app, leading the user to wonder whether (s)he could face a fine for having the wrong ticket. Eg. Thun --> Ittigen, Pulverstutz (3) The app does not store the name/date of birth of frequent tra
