This FREE app is brought to you by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA).

SFpark is a federally funded demonstration of new approaches to parking management that make parking easier and faster in San Francisco. This means less circling and double-parking, leading to cleaner air, safer streets and a clearer path for public transit and emergency vehicles.

As of December 30, 2013, the parking sensors used to determine real-time on-street parking occupancy have been deactivated as parking sensor batteries have reached the end of their useful lives. The SFMTA continues to provide real-time parking availability information for SFpark garages as well as pricing information for on-street spaces in SFpark areas.

The only thing I felt was missing was integration with Google maps navigation. Other than that, this worked great and saved me time and money. I wish I knew of this earlier.

Have been using this since Christmas. A great tool for finding available parking in this auto unfriendly city. SFMTA continues to try to balance their shortfalls on the backs of drivers with high citation fees. This app is very useful and I have found it accurate.

They removed availability of street parking. Now there is no reason to use the app as garage parking will usually have a spot open. The screen shots also lie about usability.

Tried parking near the Exploratorium yesterday. SFPark showed lots of availability nearby. Drove there, and the only spaces actually open were white and yellow loading zones - all others were occupied. SFPark should allow the user a selection to view only normal spaces and to ignore white/yellow loading zones.

Tried to use it last night in Hayes Valley. Not accurate at all.

I would like to see where motorcycle parking is available. I know the data is available, so put it in the app!
