There’s not much of Australia that Lee Atkinson, freelance travel writer and author of seven guide books about travelling in and around Australia, hasn’t seen. Former editor of the country’s highest circulating motoring and travel magazine, The Open Road, Lee has been writing about her adventures on and off the road since 1991. There is a quite staggering amount of content in there for the price you pay. With new content being added over time how could you not get buy this. Stored on the phone you have your own guide book for a fraction of the price, with the ability to map.

Just at a glance, I could say it is a little out of date. Yalata on the Nullabor Hwy issues now deserted, all closed down no fuel on nothing..

This is a great app. It's got heaps of good info and lots of stuff on things to do and the maps are pretty good. Love the sections on national parks that tell you where you can camp, but one day I'm going to have enough money to stay in some of those fa
