GPS over BlueTooth allows you to connect your mobile phone as an external GPS receiver that can transmit information about satellites and the current location, using Bleutooth, to computer.
This will help you to work with such programs as: SasPlanet, Google Earth, OziExplorer, 2Gis and
other navigation applications.
Additionally, you can view a map of "satellites", which are used to determine the current position, and the signal strength from them.
At the moment, for transmission of information the application uses the data transfer protocol - NMEA 0183.
The application supports the following NMEA messages:
GPGGA - Global Positioning System Fix Data
GPGLL - Geographic position, latitude / longitude
GPGSA - GPS DOP and active satellites
GPGSV - Detailed satellite data
GPRMC - Recommended Minimum Specific GPS/TRANSIT Data
GPVTG - Track made good and ground speed
GPZDA - Date and Time

greatest gps tether app out there. have tried others and they all failed this ones great. one question though and going to test later, is it possible to use this and also tether the phone to my bluetooth headset, while the bluetooth is tethered for gps us

I had to set up the Bluetooth connection between devices, make sure the COM ports are open both ways to my device, and then install GPSDirect NMEA Sensor Driver for Windows 7.

Only one issue getting it working with GPSGATE client for windows and that is it is not recognized as a bluetooth GPS per say but it is available as a standard com port connection over bluetooth. After connecting to com9 in gpsgate I got it working. I h

It works well for GPS signal output but it mess up my default launcher setting all the time! Sad to see it hasn't been updated for over a year. Maybe no longer supported by the developer?

Extremely useful and flawless. Doddle to set up. Have the freeware app VisualGPS reading the position on my PC with no problems. 6 star application thanks
