★ About the Author ★
Emily Laurence Baker knew she wanted to live in London since she first visited from America as a teenager. She's lived in many neighborhoods in her 21 years in the city and still can't pick a favorite.
With her two children, she's visited nearly every playground, park and child-friendly restaurant on offer and watched London change from being not all that welcoming to children to courting them outright.
She's written about London and England for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The International Herald Tribune and many other publications. She wrote the London edition of City Walks With Kids for Chronicle Books.
While researching this app, she was delighted to discover a few streets she's never been down before. She is currently writing a book on England's New Forest.
