Google Maps includes features that overtake all our expectations. And it's constantly enhanced by Google.The amount of information about places available it's huge and madly accurate and complete. Thus, Google Maps has, by far, the most complete database about mapping and navigation. It makes the most of your built-in Android GPS and geo-location features.
It allows GPS navigation with voice guidance, explore 3D maps, check nearby recommended places by categories, orient yourself with the compass mode, download maps and check them offline, get directions, check database of business and local places with info and reviews, share your location, get real-time updated traffic info, Street View and layers.
However, Google Maps keeps improving. More features are enhancing the user experience after each update. For instance, "Photo for Google Maps" feature that allows users to upload photos on their own or "My best places/create places".
Google Maps is the best mapping app so far. Must-have.
