If you have bought Memory-Map as I have this is incredibly useful, I have the whole of the UK OS maps on my phone... Amazing

Decided to upgrade my previous version of Memory Map big mistake !!! Lost all my previously stored maps. The quality and reliability of your past disc based products as been trashed by your internet based apps.

Don't bother, I found their map collection too confusing even to find an old map I had bought previously. Then trying to download it onto the tablet - it simply didn't work.

Already have a ADV3000 so the 1:25000 maps cost nothing on the tablet. However the ability to follow a route or produce a track to transfer to my PC is brilliant. No gimmicks, no unnecessary crap and thankfully no adverts. Absolutely fits the bill

A bit clunky in the trial version and a bit complicated to use in moving map mode, in fact never managed to get the map to move below the GPS symbol

Used on Android tablet in remote NT last year and the level of detail in free 250k map was brilliant. Set way points using gps, whilst not accurate to the empth degree, was good enough for my needs, cant ask for much more using free software, will purchase maps when rqd.

Even if, like me, you've been mug enough to buy maps from this squad, you'll spend more time pratting about trying to find the right maps and licences from their deliberately confusing server than you will reading the things. Have a look at UK Atlas instead. You'll be up and running in a fraction of the time and save hundreds of pounds.
