Starting from the Kitay-gorod metro station, we’ll walk through the center of Moscow and see all the main sights of the city, including Red Square and the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. We'll show you five centuries of Moscow and Russia history just in two hours. Highlights: Red Square, Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral, Mausoleum, GUM, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Pashkov House, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, the House on the Embankment. Some of these sights are only open to the public at certain time, but we’ll still describe you their history.
Best time to visit: from May to September.
The worst time to visit is from December to February - cold can spoil your tour.
Where to refuel: "Festival" cafe in GUM - cheapest prices in the city center.
Please note that some sights are open to the public at certain time. Mausoleum can be visited on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm, Kremlin - every day except Thursday, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Taking this tour in the night can be a good idea. Moscow is adorably illuminated, and Red Square with the stunning illumination of Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral and GUM makes absolutely different, deep impression.
