We use this for sail boat racing all the time. I love that you don't need a cell phone signal to use it, only gps. I only wish the interface was a little less clunky. I'm constantly cycling through the drop down menu to find our heading relative to a way point in the shorter races.

Hard to figure out how to use it for anything other than looking at some charts. No instructions that I have been able to find. A waste of the $15 and a 15 minute evaluation period is a joke. I'll stick to free trail apps that I can evaluate first and then pay for in the future.

Easy to use, charts readily available and quickly download - chart quality is very good. Interlace between charts is very good to give a 'continuous' chart. Recommend this app as alternative to purchasing multiple paper charts. Charts can be carried and reviewed anywhere. Works well on my Samsung Galaxy Note II. Great app!

I'd rather pay $15 rath er than several hundred for the same thing.

You could spring 500-1000 on a marine Garmin, but if you are just a weekender this is a way better option. All of the NOAA charts are available and they just added google maps overlay. I would probably only give this 4 stars since it's missing some full GPS features (like POIs that show up all the time... which would be nice for depth or warning markers) but I'm rounding up for developer resp
