    WiFi Finder's review

WiFi Finder helps you to find close both free or paid WiFi hotspots.

    • Ease of use
    • WiFi directory while offline
    • Accuracy
    • Favorites hotspots
    • Nothing special

    "I need a hotspot!"

We've to recognize that this is one of the most attractive and complete apps for tracking WiFi hotspots we've reviewed so far. It's set on a good-looking layout, including some effects. What's more, it's really easy to use: the home is divided in four tabs: Wi-Fi Scanner, Public Wi-Fi Near Me, Search Wi-Fi Directory and Favorites.

It allows you to scan Wi-Fi spots around you both public and private, and it indicates which of them are free/paid. What's more, you can view Wi-Fi hotspot detail (like provider), call location, get directions or share the hotspot. One of the features we liked most is that you can apply filter. For example, imagine that you need a WiFi hotspot but you prefer to connect while taking a coffee. Then, filter by cafe or hotel, restaurants... whatever.

What's more, you can download Wi-Fi finder's World wide offline database (extra 55MB) to make sure you have access to the wifi directory when you have no data network. Finally, it's compatible with both phones and tablets.

The wifi signals move, makes it hard to actually locate where the signal is coming from

It's good finding WiFi. But if it's better? Time will tell.

Not very Useful now. As explained seach function DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. And as an alternative to the seach function, the is no access to map with a view a wifi hotspots in any particular area (I am sure that older version at least had access to the map with hotpots on it - as shown in photo no 3 above. And it doesn't find my location even with location on and connected to my private wifi network
