The founders of YOLO, which stands for "you only live once," believe that because life is fleeting, every choice is important. In this spirit, their chefs help guests enjoy every moment with a carefully curated menu of inventive and classic breakfast eats that satisfy both sweet and savory cravings. Guests can indulge in pastries, egg sandwiches, and gourmet belgian waffles—topped with such confections as chocolate chips, hazelnuts, and powdered sugar—until 7 p.m., at which time the café's waffle iron turns into a pumpkin. Though breakfast is the café's bread and butter, it's not the only thing on the menu, which also features hearty, homemade chili, soups, and salads. As patrons wolf down YOLO's comfort food, staff members brew up local Green Street's small-batch Colombian coffee, most of which is organic, fair trade, or direct trade.
