This is probably a fantastic app for people in metropolitan areas, but for the rest of us, it's useless. I wouldn't mind the app featuring restaurants in major cities, but it'd be a simple matter for Google to tap into the reviews connected to restaurants via Maps and Google+, to provide support for restaurants worldwide.

The Zagat app is all fine, and dandy. However a disappointment the way you have to navigate same. Yelp is much better.

I'm a Google fan, but this time they really screwed up. I very excitedly downloaded this app while salivating in anticipation of the great places I'd find. After the long & clumsy search entry it took ages to get an EMPTY map & list. I'm in NJ & chose 5 neighborhood's and 13 (!) cuisines & got NOTHING. How is that possible when you're doing a search of Red Bank, Rumson, Sea Bright, etc., all

I've been using Zagat's since before the Internet (I know... some of you think nothing existed before it). Zagat has provided excellent restaurants wherever I've traveled. I wouldn't try a new establishment without checking Zagat's first.

I'm not impressed with this app, for the simple fact that it doesn't have all the U.S. States on here. I feel that Google are traitors when they'll put another country on here, & they are from the U.S..
