Really engineered for serious hiking nav. They were quick to develop an app for my Gear 2 wearable. I wish there were more maps available for Canada and Europe, but that has nothing to do with the developers. Good work!

Once you get in you have to start buying other maps. Thought when you paid the $ 11.99 you were getting ever setting you needed. Don't let them sucker you in.

Sigh.. Had to uninstall and reinstall. Turns out if you move the app to your SD after opening it, then it no longer finds the original maps it was loading. (That figured out, I increased my rating) Downloaded some KMZ and GPX map files for the trip I had planned. Once those were imported it worked great. Initially I had problems but after a little tinkering it all worked out. Upped to 4 stars.

Excellent strengths (especially relative to Gaia) incl.: - extensive map library (option aerial imagery w/ topo lines is especially valuable for above-treeline ski mountaineering) - ability to set up multiple trip databases (i.e., segregating waypoints & tracks from different regions) Major pr
