Probably the most useful app i have installed on my phone, and the BCN team have always responded to my queries. I have used the app widely in UK, France and Japan. Very convenient and saves buying expensive maps. I have had some problems with storage - the maps can take up a lot of space, and if you have to change device, or just clear out space, you can lose maps. I recommend using the Named Ma

Over recent years I have convinced several hikers in our tramping club to use your easy and accurate app for navigation and track recording. They now leave their expensive specific gps equipments at home, and use their android mobile phones for hiking gps. We also use Backcountry Navigator frequently when cycling in New Zealand. Great for back country tracks and also city cycle and walking tracks

The only issue I have ever had is with saving maps to SD card, and the SD card was at fault. Save smaller maps to your phone, and it will save you miles in the backcountry.
