I have a nexus 4, so have to limit its on-time to conserve battery. BCN has always done an excellent job. I recommend it.

Great app. Saved my butt more than once after getting turned around in the swamp. Had a problem installing an update yesterday and contacted the help desk. Got a very quick response with the solution having to do with the Play store, not the app (I knew it couldn't be the app, since the app has only ever worked great!).

I have had this app for years. I use it to track new trails while I'm off roading. I have told all my friend's about it and have sent them pictures of trails.

I've used this app over 2 years now, & it just keeps getting better. Responsive dev & I find the UI intuitive & easy to use, way better than the competitors. And I've tried about all of them since I spend the majority of my time in remote areas, often without reliable cell service.

We use BCN (on a Samsung S4) extensively throughout California, and usually just leave our old Garmin in the pack. BCN is just terrific ... has saved our butts several times. $11.99 is dirt cheap. This is not just an "app" ... it is serious software. We use it not only for serious mointaineering (6 summits of Mt. WHITNEY with BCN), but also use it for short hikes in San Diego's many canyons in
