Flashback is a mobile location based application that allows you to experience your location through time.
Users receive notification in a specific location, and by using Augmented Reality technology and orientation of their device, are directed to the exact angle where a Flashback picture is stored.
Once clicked, the app retrieves the picture from the database and offers more relevant content from Wikipedia.

Flashback was developed by a group of students in the Media Innovation Lab (miLAB) of the Sammy Ofer School of Communication in IDC Herzliya. All photos are courteously contributed by the Tel Aviv Yafo municipality which holds all rights.
