My Poor Old Garmin Oregon GPS unit now sits at home in a pile of unused hiking gear. I need to put it on eBay and find it a nice home. Accuracy, usability, fantastic maps from multiple sources for free, this puts my hand held GPS unit in the dark ages. Both for finding obscure trails and traveling and scrambling off trail, this has been a fantastic product. Don't hesitate to spend the 20 bucks.

Great app, it just doesn't work that well. Crashes and stops tracking pretty regularly, is SUPER slow sometimes, and eats a ton of battery. If it was cheap or free that would be fine, but for $20 that's pretty disappointing.

I think IOS is their primary platform and Android is just an afterthought. One problem is incomplete displays of maps and leftover waypoints being shown in a map - there is no refresh button to redraw the map, so the only way to clean up the display is to kill and restart the app. But of course then you lose your current tracking. Also the back button is inconsistent - you often get thrown out
