I have tried many of this type of app. None are close in terms of accuracy and ease of use. No one else will be getting my Tracking App money anymore. I recently had an issue (mine-nothing wrong w/app) and the customer service was extraordinarily pleasant and expedient.

Very good app for navigation in a car. I learned a ton about the front of the local Mt. ranges. Not so good for climbing in the Sierras. Gaia drains a 1800 mA battery in 6 hrs. while recording a track. Also it is very reliant on data service.

When I downloaded this app and tried it out for the first time, I instantly regretted purchasing the $500+, Garmin gps/radio 655t. It was accurate, and it allowed me to view the area, my track, and mark way points on my Galaxy 4x active. Unfortunately, when I needed it most, the area around my location would not completely load; which, left me with a fuzzy image of the area around my immediate pos
