I have used this as a back up when sailing or when on other smaller boats which have no nav gear on board and find it very good indeed. It is also very hand when sitting down planning your next trip out. I have just gone over the iphone and will comment

If I have to sail from south of England to the East coast I have to follow the Dover separation scheme. The area cut performed by national borders does not allow it as some part of the scheme will be in the French territorial waters and it will be obscure

Pretty good as back up charts but will still need to get a seperate plotter for my type of fishing. I was around half a mile offshore in 7m of water and the chart showed me in the surf zone in 1m. Would like to be able to zoom in more. The menus work well
