Recently changed in this version

Google Places search was removed by request from Google company. Maverick can't use it without displaying Google Maps, which were removed previously because Google doesn't allow map tiles caching.

Version 2.6:
New tiles downloader. You can "paint" areas to download with one finger or select a rectangle block using multi-touch.

It was great. Updated itself. Now crashes when I select Routes and stopped downloading any maps at all.

Great app. Would like to see one addition: Routing; being able to create a route where multiple waypoints are linked sequentially.

I got this app to access UK OS maps and it was brilliant. Something had changed and now it won't load any OS map onto the phone. Gives me the overlays, just not the map. Now useless.

I got this to track my progress between two known points on the river. I can hover over any spot on my track to see the distance from the beginning to that spot & from there to the end. Also my average speed at any point & the elapsed time. You can download the maps & aerial photos as you plan your trip then when you're out of signal range or turn on airplane mode, the data is cached for use. Jus
