From the bustling, hipster-heavy city of Portland to the golden, undulating hills of the Columbia Valley, wine country is everywhere in Oregon.

Whether you're new to wine or a unapologetic terroiriste, Oregon Uncorked will immerse you in the pleasures of Oregon's handcrafted wines.

In addition to touring and travel tips, The Oregonian newspaper's wine columnist Katherine Cole offers her personal recommendations for screaming deals and one-of-a-kind finds at her favorite wineries. (In addition, for those so inclined, Cole discusses geeky details such as soil types and farming methods.)

Use Oregon Uncorked at your favorite restaurant or bottle shop to learn more about that Oregon label you've been eyeing. And be sure to load this app prior to your next visit to the Pacific Northwest, because listings include artisanal local labels not available in other parts of the United States or the world.

Unlike so many other aggregate-driven apps that recycle existing content, this is a lovingly handcrafted, all-original app about lovingly handcrafted, original wines. Don't miss out. Get an insider's perspective on the Oregon wine scene with Oregon Uncorked.
