If I have a map downloaded, why can't I search for an address in airplane mode from my contacts list? Just says "nothing found" no use to me, Uninstalling.

Ty so much. I've been using other so called "free" navigation apps which were not that "free". However, osmand is completely free. It is also very accurate and has a lot of cool features.

Very useful. Needs some tuch up to be as good as the commercial navigation devices, but is as good as any commercial navigation software, or even better!

It works better than the others similar apps that I have tried but it still needs more work because sometimes the destination is about 100 meters and it send you to a different point that is about 4 kilometres and then return to the destination that you w

No matter what settings I set I cannot get it to give me turn to turn directions when I have loaded a gpx file. Loaded local maps without an is so the potential seems to be there.

I love this app. It's loaded with features, and if the map is wrong, you can just fix it for yourself. I have the free version, but I'm going to buy the pro version just because it's worth it.
