Martha has traveled extensively in Italy for more than 25 years. She produces the Italy Travel site on About.com and has a house in northern Tuscany where she spends five months of the year, using it as a base to explore Italy.
Martha's first experience in Puglia was as part of an archeological project based on the Salento Peninsula more than 20 years ago. Since that time she has traveled to Puglia several times and explored the entire region from the tip of the peninsula up tthrough the Gargano Promontory. She is passionate about this part of Italy and enjoys sharing her experiences with her readers.
