Social Studio's Jumpcam is a new concept of social network: one that allows you to create, edit and share videos collaboratively. In any given event or party, you and your friends take photos and shoot videos separately. And then, unless they share them on their social accounts, you simply miss them. JumpCam comes to the rescue: you can add your own clips of a party and invite other friends to add theirs and produce as many merged clips of a party, from many point of views. Those videos can be edited (music and filters) collaboratively and shared on your JumpCam's timeline. You can choose who can see your content (everyone, friends or unlisted).
Unless other similar apps, you can combine clips from different locations and events. The interface is a replica of that other photo-sharing social networks we all know about, so it feels familiar and comfortable to use. It's a snap adding clips to a video and inviting people to collaborate.
The app concept was quite original when it first came out but there's now strong competition within the market, especially from those social networks that already were well-established in the photo-sharing field and included video afterwards.
