OceanLife by BrantApps is a professional tool for gathering swell, wind, weather and tide information for anywhere in the world. This is why you need this app...

Swell: The application has unparalleled real-time buoy coverage paired with NOAA WaveWatch III modelling capabilities. This means that the app can tell you the swell height for any stretch of coastline in the world. The swell modelling feature (referred to as 'Virtual Buoys' within the app) also provides a 12 hour forecast.
Tide: Gain access to tidal predictions for 7,000+ primary ports and leverage the in-built secondary port offset capability for a simple read-out of the tide times for the next 7 days, tweaked for your position in relation to the primary port.
Weather: Comprehensive 5 day weather forecasts with current wind conditions provide near-shore weather information.

Graphs are used to display complex information such as swell height, period and tide interactions. Intuitive controls with simple one-touch inputs combined with short tutorials remove the complexity of initial configuration whilst maintaining the flexibility required by the more advance user.

OceanLife can intelligently discover new buoys as the the data sources are modified in real-time. This means that the minute a new buoy is added or an existing one repaired, OceanLife can connect with it and start retrieving the data you need.

Using 'spot preferences' defined with each spot input, the application will notify you when conditions are tending toward what you want. You'll never miss that perfect session!

★ 100% YOURS ★
Everything including notifications and automatic synchronisation schedule is up to you with no unnecessary application permissions.

Best buoy monitoring app I've found yet. NOAA, Pirate Buoy and the others don't have anything on this. The layout of the app is great, it's easy to use, and it has a high level of control with many user specified buoy conditions. THANK YOU.

The more I learn about this app the more impressed I am. Some thoughts: 1. The developer is easy to reach and really does reply (even in depth) to your questions and suggestions. 2. The UI is pretty slick and the data is presented in an intuitive and useful way. My favorite is the trending data that shows period and height movement. Rotate your screen and it converts to a graph! I'm giving it 5

I like it. Easy to set up your buoys, once you know how. Very easy to read, even in the sunlight, don't need to zoom in. Very quick to update the buoys with the latest information. Gives you the information to know what the swell is doing. No unnecessary extras to waste time. Tides and weather at a glance. I don't trust the surf reports online, they're often wrong, but the buoys are real. I wonde

Hey I love to go razor clamming, and having something to predict the wave height and frequency at the beach during clamming tides is right up my alley - yeah I'm game.

This app didn't tell me where *any* sharks were and one bit me and I lost my balls. This doesn't surprise me as I saw a picture of the developer and he was laughing and punching an effigy of my nutsack. He's a sheep headed monster. It still gets five stars as I think I had testicular cancer.
