Get push notifications and alerts of earthquakes worldwide! Free version alerts quakes only above a 3.5 in magnitude.
* This is a companion application to Earthquake Alert! *
It uses push notifications to alert you when an earthquake occurs that match any predefined filters.
Create as many filters as you want to monitor earthquakes all over the world. Create a filter for smaller earthquakes near your location, or one to filter very large quakes worldwide, or create a custom location and radius - it's up to you!
Push notifications use Google's C2DM technology and therefore require Android 2.2.
Again, this is a companion app for Earthquake Alert!. Once you have both installed they work together seamlessly.

Recently changed in this version:
V 1.5.1: Bug fixes with "Unable to connect"
Version 1.5.0: Multiple alerts aggregate in the status bar now. You can also set a custom ringtone or vibration for each filter, or you can specify a silent period.
Version 1.0.1: New settings screen with options to select custom ringtone. Option to select different account to connect with. Minimum magnitude is sent to server for backend filtering.
Version 1.0.0: initial release

I have a Moto Droid HD and had no issues with this app - however - for some time now... I hear nothing, no alert, no vibrations, nothing - on my mobile. I am going to uninstall this for the time being, then reinstall it later and see if this issue contin

I see potential in this app im willing to buy the pro version but come on!!! ...this one isnt working.....why should I buy a pro version when the free one hasn't even alerted me to not even one earthquake,,,...do your homework....fix it.
