The first thing you have to do when downloading Contract Killer is...wait. Wait for an endless download of more than 300 Mb. Fortunately, an incoming call or tapping home button doesn't interrupt the download, so we can do anything else meanwhile. Through an info icon on the upper right of the screen, the developers says that download can be resumed later, but I hadn't the courage to test that.
Nearly two inadmissible hours later, you should be ready to play. That's assuming you have not already arrived home and you're playing with your beloved PS3 or whatever. Or better yet, making dinner, doing housework or mowing the lawn. In fact, that starting download is so annoying that I'm seriously considering rating this app with a bare star and look for something better to do.
First level is a tutorial. Swipe to move, tap zoom (lower left) and adjust the zoom with the slider on your right. Finally, shoot tapping the icon on the lowest right. Then you go to the shop, where you can buy additional ammo and guns needed before your next mission. Score can be submitted to Openfeint leaderboards once you've signed in.
Using contract points, you can purchase additional weapons. Those contract points can be earned tapping on the adds or buying them through the in-app purchase.
So, a very well done game with amazing graphics and storyplay if you can survive the initial downloading and until you realize that it seems impossible to end the game without having to pay for additional ammo or weapons.
