This version is full-featured and ad-free.
Once in a while is good being the killer instead of the victim. In Shark or Die you are a great white shark who's starving for fresh human mean. Luckily you're in a swimming area, full of bathers and snorkels. Your goal is to eat as many swimmers as you can before they reach the safe boat.
What makes this game such interesting is its level-up system: you can upgrade your skills after each "wave" by improving your skills with experience points. Obviously, the number of points you'll get depends on your performance. There are different scenarios and challenges as well as different type of swimmers. You'll be unlocking achievements that you can share via Facebook. There's also a local ranking.
Shark or Die's graphics are good, not stunning though. It's been Xperia Play optimized. It's easy to get the hang of its controls: just hold and drag to drive the shark towards incautious bathers. Recommended.

What is the deal with marking the next victim only to have the shark swim clear across the screen and "swing and miss" the last bite. Shark swims as if attack but the caresses now laughing victim with tail. Really taking from realism.

Sharks attack! This game is pure comedy. I think it's a great game. But then it gets repetative.
