The twin princes of Babylon, Nasir and Blasir, were caught and locked up by an evil sorcerer who's trying to take control of the land. The twins are the only hope of the babylonians. They have to find their way out of the fortress they were shut if the want to save the city and restore the peace. On their way they'll have to collect gems, relics and find out secret treasures.
Babylonian Twins got the essence of 16-bit gaming, even regarding graphics, which are retro and cute. It reminds sometimes Prince of Persia due to the scenery and the gameplay. However, there's a difference: there are two characters, each of them with specific skills, and you'll need to switch between them to overcome some obstacles and handicaps. Collaborate or die.
Controls are handy: a screenpad with a joystick on the left side and action button on the right side. No issues with screentouch response. From the HP bar you can switch between Nasir and Blasir.
There are lots of levels, divided by quests: Tower of Babel, The Assyrian Place, The Procession Street and The Hanging Gardens of Babylon (its most-known wonderful). Even the album worth of original authentic Iraqi Music. All of this makes senses (and becomes more reliable) when you know that the developer of this game is a settled Iraqi game developing company (HQ in Baghdad) which is being on the industry for almost two decades, since the time of Commodore Amiga .
Cool retro-graphics, storyline, collaborative gameplay and detailed Ancient Mesopotamia environment. What can I say? Just come and give it a go!
