Midnight Parking offers a different version of the parking game you all know and love. As the name may well hint, this time around you have to get your car parked in the dark!
This isn't the easiest goal to accomplish, so you'll need to be at the top of your game if you're to win through.
Fortunately perhaps, on this occasion, there is no time limit to race against, meaning that you can take your time and think out clearly what the best way is to reach your destination.
The space you need to park in is covered in flashing blue lines.
There are the usual four controls for this game, with the left and right arrow keys being utilized to steer your car in the appropriate direction, the down key slowing you down or moving into reverse gear, and the up arrow key accelerating - though these streets are narrow, so pouring on the coal needs to be done with caution.
There's no other moving traffic at this time of night, but there are other cars in the parking lot, and if you hit one, or the curb, you'll be sent back to the start of the level to try again.
You have an unlimited number of lives in Midnight Parking, which together with the lack of a time limit makes it a good choice for a gamer who's looking for something a little less hectic than the average entry in the genre.
Another point of interest is that the cars here handle, and corner, much more like the real thing than those you sometimes encounter - don't expect to get around a tight hairpin without some very careful maneuvering.
Sound is limited to the engine note and a few effect, and the lack of music can make this seem quite a soothing game - until you reach the really hard levels!
