Cannonball may be one of the most elaborate and romantic shooting-gallery games, halfway Steampunk and Victorian. Graphics and music are gorgeous both to the eye and ear, and everything is so romantically decrepit that will make you stare at it for a while the first time you run in on your device, at least till you understand what it's about.
And it's about shooting cannonballs at wooden ships, seagulls and krakens that appear in the midst of wooden waves. In order to shoot, just tap on where you want to send the ball. If you hit the target it falls back and you get some points. Unfortunately, this game can become boring very fast, as there is no apparent goal other than accumulate points and, if you are up to it, upload them to an online leaderboard. There are no power-ups nor any other gameplay tweak. It would be far better if there were some physics in it, perhaps even by a strength and angle counters.
Fun for a while, anyway, and a good design work.
