After Paradise Island and MyCountry, Cooper Media makes its debut across the courtyard with an adventure peppered with RPG elements. Instead of playing a role as a mayor, now we'll become low profile gangsters in their way to the top of the gangsters' food chain.
As every game before, developer has taken well care of graphics and music, and there's even a quite decent slideshow intro. There isn't any tutorial, but you don't have to learn the hard way. Play step by step and the game will unravel its mechanics accordingly. Keep in mind that there are lots of hours of gameplay ahead, so read the advises carefully and don't try to spoil your own game too soon. If you're specially proud of an achievement, you can share it on Facebook or Twitter. Gather hints to find out where your brother is (he's kidnapped, didn't we say?) and improve your fighting and cunning skills.
Story isn't to write home about, but it's appreciated. Controls are as easy as tapping wherever you want to go and choice among the range of options offered at each issue. There are tens, if not hundreds of quests and sidequests and characters to interact with. In addition, the higher your character climbs, the more tattoos you receive. This gives the action a Russian-esque flavor, harder and cooler than other much more overused cliches.
In conclusion, great game. Perhaps the best Game Insight's game so far. It's obvious that they have dedicated all their efforts into it. Recommendable even if you have never played anything similar before and want to install a long term game instead of more casual, simpler, games.
