Dragon Hunter

Dragon Hunter's review

by Peter Warrior

An arcade defense game.

  • Intense gameplay
  • Balanced difficulty
  • Too few new features

"Ice & Dragons"

Dragon Hunter Ice follows suit from previous Feelingtouch's Dragon Hunter games. It's the same gameplay, with a lonely defender at the left side riddling incoming waves of monsters with arrows. It's a defense game in which you can upgrade your weapons and castle to improve your prowess and acquire new skills and allies -mages become rather important once you get to advanced stages. These monsters' corpses can be gathered to stock food needed to keep everything up. Likewise, coins are used to purchase workshops and laboratories.

Nonetheless, you won't stare passively how dragons come and let the towers do their job as if this was a standard tower defense game. Instead, you'll have to point where you want to shoot and have in mind that they move, too.

This "Ice" version brings new landscapes, castle tiers and skills. Recommendable whether this will be the first Dragon Hunter game you play or if you have played other versions and want to lengthen the experience.

Dragon Hunter Ice is a standalone game. There's no need to have installed Dragon Hunter or Dragon Hunter II before.
