"The galactic taxi"

Reviewed by / Dec 12, 2011

Drive the taxi from planet to planet

In Galataxi you need to make sure everyone gets places in the Galaxy by flying them there. How? Play with the on-screen joystick to choose the direction and then tap on the thrust button to launch it that way.

You need to fly to the planets to pick up passengers and follow the green arrow to get to the destination. More points are earned if you travel quickly. There are three types of passengers: businessmen who just want to travel, tourist, who want to see the sights and scientist, who want to investigate the planets. There are 54 levels, the first ones are for training.

The game is based on gravity physics and that's why it is so hard to successfully land on the planets. If you tap on the thrust button too hard the rocket will bounce so you need to achieve the right amount of boost and be careful to land appropriately.
The game is definitely addictive, as you'll try until you achieve the objectives but at the same time it can be really frustrating when you don't make it. The developer is measuredsoftware.co.uk, creator of Pocket Racing and Measured Timer. If you want a real challenge, download this game and see it for yourself.

This game is so addictive. The time constraints and bonus keep the game interesting. I beat the old version, and came back for the new levels.

Great for my Samsung Galaxy S2 but the layout is incorrect for my Galaxy Note. The menu layout is crushed and there is no thrusting control.

    Excellent game.
I love this game but it doesn't work on my new phone (Galaxy Nexus). Graphical glitches, ghosting, and no thrust button. Was fine on HTC Desire.
