As in many others attack and defense games, in Little Clan you have to summon units to attack the enemy fortress and protect yours at the same time. There isn't much to say about gameplay, we've seen this many times before. However, what we really liked is the array of different available units, more than thirty, when we were already used to manage six or seven at most. All units, and your castle as well, are upgradeable, so there'll be a time when you have to plan your skill tree strategy.
Cartoony design may or may not be of your liking, but it has to be said that is beautiful and user interface is practical and agile. Three save slots allow to try different strategies or different players on the same device. Bosses are always welcomed and this is no exception. Likewise, even though storyline is about revenge and war, there are some humorous details here and there to make it all more children friendly. We'd like there were more heroes, though. This game is free to play along its hundred levels, but it might happen that you get stuck somewhere and have to start over or buy premium items at the in-app shop.
Anyway, an interesting and well balanced game for newcomers to the genre, suited for all ages, and also a fun break for hardcore gamers.
