Gameplay is similar to classic snake: a water snake is swimming in a stage full of little fishes. The more fishes it eats, the higher score. However, there are some handicaps that make it more complex: as snake eats fishes, it grows becoming less easy-to-drive. What's more, there's always someone stronger than you: eagles will cross the level looking for tasty snakes. Keep it away from them and last as long as you can to beat all records.
Lucky Snake is set in simple graphics that won't amaze you. It doesn't affect its playability though: remember Nokia's snake graphics and how successful it was. Be sure that in this kind of games doesn't make the difference. It doesn't mean though that it shouldn't be enhanced in some regards. We like the new way to control the snake: instead of pushing keys, you just need to hold and drag the snake the direction you want it to move. Remember that it only moves drawing columns and rows (not diagonally).
Besides "Single Mode" (which is also available in Lite version), full version comes with "Challenge Mode" in which your snake will have to prove it's the best by competing against other CPU snakes. Anyway, we're missing some other features like local and online leaderboards, more power-ups and handicaps and a sort of social network integration. The simplicity of the game fits perfectly kids.
